Open Educational Resources
Open Educational Resources (OER) include text, media, and other digital assets that can be used for teaching and learning. These resources are publicly available and can be used, reorganized, improved, and distributed under a Creative Commons licensing.
Learning Objects are a type of OER that typically have a few more restrictions as they can be reused and repurposed, but normally must be used "as is" unless otherwise specified.
