May 31, 2022

新澳门六合彩开奖记录 will host the upcoming Summit of Seven Boys and Men Conference, with more than 1,000 people expected for the event that provides mentors and role models for youth.

The 28th annual conference will be held June 10-11, 2022 on the college鈥檚 Melbourne campus.

The summit is the largest gathering of its kind in Brevard County and one of the largest in Central Florida, with motivational speakers and workshops on subjects such as financial literacy, education, entrepreneurship, mental health and public safety.

鈥淭he summit is an excellent way for boys and young men to learn they have bright futures ahead of them, and there is no limit to what they can accomplish,鈥 said organizer Moses L. Harvin Sr.

鈥淢any of today鈥檚 youth need help and guidance on what can be a difficult journey from childhood to manhood, and the summit provides that guidance in important and lasting ways.鈥

Harvin is President and CEO of American Services Technology, Inc., in Rockledge. He is a retired Army major and former member of the 新澳门六合彩开奖记录 Board of Trustees.

Dozens of corporate and community groups will be involved in the event, which includes a free public festival, free workshops and a breakfast for registered boys and men, plus a luncheon that's open to the public with a ticket purchase.

The conference starts June 10 with the 6 p.m. Summit Festival featuring games, food, door prizes and campus tours, with the public welcome to attend. The event continues June 11 from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a range of activities including breakfast and workshops for registered boys and men.

The public is invited to the 1 p.m. Saturday luncheon that will feature former NFL player James Folston as the speaker. Luncheon tickets are $35 for adults, with no charge for registered boys and men. Youth will also be given awards for community service, young men of distinction and receive 新澳门六合彩开奖记录 scholarships.

Registration information for participants and purchase information for adult luncheon tickets is available at

The event was started by the Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church in Palm Bay, and got its name by asking each male member of the congregation to bring seven boys and young men from age 5 through adult, hence the Summit of Seven.
