鈥淭he summit is a great opportunity for boys and young men to learn they have bright futures ahead of them, and there is no limit to what they can accomplish,鈥 said organizer Moses L. Harvin Sr.

鈥淢any of today鈥檚 youth need help and guidance on what can be a difficult journey from childhood to manhood, and the summit provides that guidance in meaningful way.鈥

The summit concludes June 11 with an 11 a.m. worship service at Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church in Palm Bay where Dr. Quintin P. Woods Sr. serves as pastor.

The event was started by the Mount Moriah church, and got its name by asking each male member of the congregation to bring seven boys and young men from age 5 through adult, hence the Summit of Seven.
