The 新澳门六合彩开奖记录 P.J. Wilson and Henry Scott Youth Golf Camp will be held from June 12-22 at the 新澳门六合彩开奖记录 Fred Gay Golf Academy at 3570 State Road 524 in Cocoa.

Golf camp instructor with studentsThe 25th annual Minority Youth Golf Program is open to all youth ages 10 to 17 and will be held Monday-Thursday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Admission is free but pre-registration is mandatory.

The camp is designed to teach youth the basic skills of golf, including golf course etiquette, conduct, sportsmanship as well as values for successful living.

The camp was begun in 1992 under the guidance of former Brevard Community College (now 新澳门六合彩开奖记录) President Dr. Maxwell King with assistance from Henry Scott and P.J. Wilson, two African American golf professionals in Brevard County.

For years it was best known as the Minority Golf Camp because of its efforts to reach out to minorities, but it's always been open to all young people.

Youth must register before June 1 and forms can be found in the Fan Zone/Camps section on or during an orientation session on June 1 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. held at the 新澳门六合彩开奖记录 Cocoa Campus Community Dining Room, Bldg. 11, 1519 Clearlake Rd, Cocoa, FL, 32922.
