Eastern Florida Students Graduate in Medical, Public Safety Programs

More than 100 students are taking the next step in their careers this week as they graduate from medical and public safety programs at 新澳门六合彩开奖记录.

The largest group involves 52 students in the Associate in Science Degree Nursing Program on the Palm Bay campus, who celebrate the special milestone with a traditional pinning ceremony as a welcome to the nursing profession. That ceremony is Thursday, August 8 at 6:30 p.m. at the Simpkins Fine Arts Center on the Cocoa Campus.

Another 30 students are graduating from the Law Enforcement Academy plus 30 more are candidates for graduation from the Emergency Medical Services Academy. Both of those programs are located at the Institute of Public Safety on the Melbourne campus.

An additional 19 students are graduating from the Surgical Technology Program on the Cocoa campus.

鈥淭he graduates have chosen fields dedicating themselves to protecting health, safety and saving lives,鈥 said Eastern Florida President, Dr.  Jim Richey. 鈥淚鈥檓 extremely proud of them as they serve our community.鈥

The graduations will take place Aug. 5 and Aug. 8 at locations that include the Simpkins Fine Arts Center and the 新澳门六合彩开奖记录 Planetarium, both on the Cocoa campus.

Eastern Florida offers more than 100 Associate Degrees and certificate programs along with new Bachelor鈥檚 Degrees starting this month.
